Proper Maintenance

We can help you maintain your yard as it was designed. Rosebushes are intended to bloom all summer and need to be constantly deadheaded. Lawns should be thick, green and lush. Every bed should be weed-free and its soil rich and dark.  Additionally, no plant should block walkways, windows or grow into structures. We can manicure your yard to keep it beautiful!

Making Plant & Plant Beds a Priority

One Time Clean Up-

Full Yard Cleanups are a "deep cleaning" of your yard. These cleanings can happen at any time of the year and for any reason.

We get your plant beds in shape,  pick up all the garbage and debris, and trim back plants to make spring and fall cleaning much easier.

We can also do a cleanup before a yard party, BBQ, family gathering or if you'll be out of town. Here is what you can expect in a standard yard clean up from Rasmussen Landscapes:

    Determining Budget & Preferences

Lawn services and residential snow removal are charged a fixed-price based on square footage of the work area,  which relates to the time needed for crews to complete the work.

    1) Man Hours- Plants and bed maintenance, as well as sprinkler services are charged based on time and materials. Each person working one hour on a property constitutes one man hour. For example, a team of three workers who work for one hour constitutes 3 man hours. Depending on your project, you can determine the best use of time for each worker during your allotted time with your budget.

    2) Priorities- It is important to communicate your priorities with us. Are your top priorities weeding the beds or shaping the shrubs or picking up leaves in the fall? Are you more concerned with the front yard or the back? We want to know what's most important to you!

    3) Time Estimate- A crew can usually determine shortly after they arrive how long they will need to finish their entire list of work. Our office will communicate that to you so you can make decisions accordingly.

    4) Get to Know You- For the first few services with a new customer there is a period of getting to know each other. We have over 50 years of experience and a history of doing things the way the majority of customers appreciate. However, if you want your lawn cut or a bush trimmed in a certain way, please let us know. Likewise, if you have certain priorities or budget concerns, please share those with us and we will do our best to accommodate. Before cancelling any services, let our amazing team work with you until you are happy!
